CRUUZ Provider Standards

Provider Terms

Terms for drivers, delivery partners, fleet operators, vendors, businesses, and other service providers using CRUUZ.

Effective date: 9 September 2026

1. Scope

These Provider Terms apply to drivers, delivery partners, fleet operators, vendors, businesses, merchants, and other independent service providers who register to provide eligible services through the CRUUZ platform.

These Terms should be read together with the CRUUZ Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Verification Policy, and other policies applicable to the relevant service.

2. Provider Registration

Providers must submit accurate, current, and complete information during registration and whenever CRUUZ reasonably requests updated information.

Registration does not automatically guarantee approval. CRUUZ may review an application before allowing a provider to offer services through the platform.

3. Identity and Business Verification

Depending on the provider type and service, CRUUZ may request identity, contact, business, vehicle, licence, insurance, settlement, and other supporting information.

Providers must not submit false, altered, expired, stolen, misleading, or fraudulent documents or information.

CRUUZ may request additional information where reasonably necessary for verification, safety, fraud prevention, payment compliance, or regulatory purposes.

4. Driver Requirements

Drivers must maintain all licences, vehicle documentation, registrations, insurance, roadworthiness requirements, permits, and other approvals required by applicable law for the services they provide.

Drivers are responsible for ensuring that vehicles used for CRUUZ services are reasonably safe, properly maintained, and suitable for their intended use.

5. Vendors and Other Service Providers

Vendors and other providers must ensure that goods or services offered through CRUUZ are accurately represented, lawful, and compliant with applicable regulatory, licensing, safety, and consumer-protection requirements.

Providers must not list, sell, transport, deliver, or facilitate prohibited goods or services identified in the CRUUZ Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Provider Account

Providers are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and authentication credentials.

A provider must not sell, transfer, rent, share, or permit another unauthorised person to operate an account assigned to that provider.

7. Service Standards

Providers are expected to:

  • Treat customers and other users respectfully.
  • Provide accepted services with reasonable care.
  • Maintain accurate service and availability information.
  • Follow applicable safety requirements.
  • Comply with CRUUZ policies and applicable law.
  • Cooperate with legitimate customer-support and compliance reviews.

8. Pricing and Charges

Prices, fares, fees, commissions, service charges, or other amounts applicable to a provider may depend on the particular CRUUZ service and commercial arrangement.

Providers must not manipulate prices, bookings, transactions, promotions, refunds, or other platform mechanisms for improper financial benefit.

9. Payments and Settlements

CRUUZ may use authorised payment service providers to facilitate customer payments, provider settlements, refunds, and related transactions.

Providers may be required to provide valid settlement information before receiving amounts due in connection with eligible services.

Settlement timing may depend on the applicable service, transaction status, payment provider, compliance review, refunds, disputes, or other relevant circumstances.

10. Refunds, Cancellations and Disputes

Providers must cooperate with CRUUZ in reviewing legitimate cancellations, refund requests, customer complaints, charge disputes, and suspected transaction errors.

CRUUZ may consider booking information, service records, communications, payment records, trip information, and other relevant evidence when reviewing a dispute.

11. Safety Incidents

Providers should report serious accidents, safety incidents, suspected criminal activity, or other significant incidents connected with a CRUUZ service as soon as reasonably possible.

Where there is an immediate danger to life or safety, the appropriate emergency authorities should be contacted first.

12. Fraud and Prohibited Conduct

Providers must not:

  • Create fake rides, bookings, orders, or transactions.
  • Use false identities or documentation.
  • Manipulate location or service information for improper gain.
  • Misuse customer information.
  • Use stolen or unauthorised payment information.
  • Engage in collusion, money laundering, or payment fraud.
  • Attempt to bypass CRUUZ security or compliance controls.
  • Offer prohibited or unlawful goods or services.

13. Customer Information

Providers may receive limited customer information where necessary to fulfil a service.

Such information must only be used for legitimate service purposes and must not be sold, misused, retained unnecessarily, or used for unauthorised marketing or harassment.

14. Reviews and Complaints

CRUUZ may receive and review customer feedback, ratings, complaints, safety reports, and other information concerning a provider's services. Providers may be contacted where additional information is required.

15. Account Restriction or Suspension

CRUUZ may temporarily restrict or suspend provider access where reasonably necessary to investigate safety concerns, fraud, verification issues, serious customer complaints, payment disputes, legal requirements, or suspected policy violations.

Serious or repeated violations may result in termination of access to CRUUZ services.

16. Independent Business Responsibilities

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, providers remain responsible for their own applicable licences, permits, taxes, insurance, operating costs, employees or contractors, and other legal or business obligations associated with the services they provide.

17. Changes to Provider Terms

CRUUZ may update these Provider Terms as services, operational requirements, technology, payment arrangements, or legal and regulatory obligations evolve. The current version will be published on the CRUUZ website.
